Come Meet Julia!

I’m Julia, a mom of four who has taken a long time to get here!

As a kid and young adult, I always wanted to work in infrastructure development in Ukraine. I received my BA in International Relations, my BS in Accounting, my MBA, and my MS in Foreign Service because I was convinced that I would be building roads and helping people. Little did I know, I would still be helping people but in unimaginable ways.

Fast forward to 2019. COVID-19. The War in Ukraine. I was pregnant with my first son. Suffice it to say, building roads, I would not be doing. I had my son in May 2020, right at the beginning of the Great Shutdown. I became incredibly passionate about mental health, child identity formation, and lifespan development, which caused me to make a career pivot that not only aligned with but allowed me to more effectively live out my values of wanting to support others.

I began studying Psychology and Lifespan Development at Georgetown University and received my doula certification from Childbirth International. I’m also in the process of receiving my MA in Counseling from Northwestern University and am a Counselor Trainee (CT) in the state of Ohio. Assisting individuals from the perinatal period through emerging adulthood and beyond is a true passion of mine.

I believe parenting support should be intellectually honest, emotionally compassionate, and accessible long before families reach a breaking point.

I currently reside in (and provide in person services to) the greater Cleveland area with my four wonderful kiddos and amazing husband. We also live with two cats that we rescued, and in my free time (with three kids?! that’s funny) I LOVE to read, spend time outside, and exercise (ask me about yoga and pole!). I’m also an author, having published a book in 2021 - check out the store tab if you’d like to learn more about that.

Now I’m excited to get to know and support you!
